Silent Sunday

Sometimes it is good to look back and reflect. This is where I was four years ago, of course with my dad. We’ve done many wonderful trips together over the years and we are keeping the hope alive that we will do plenty more. As my dad always loves to say “Carpe Diem”.

Last year I lost my hubby to lung cancer on May 30 20012 he was diagnosed the year before and told he would only last about 3-5 months. He actually lasted 1 year and 2 weeks every day was a blessing he had been sick for 6 years and the Doctor’s was telling him he had pneumonia all that time. I still miss him every day but I know in my head that he isn’t suffering anymore. If you every need a sounding board I’m here I can tell you I know how you feel but I can say that I’m a good listener and I wish I had someone who just would listen and let me be better for him. Kat
